Our Retouching Ground Siccative Varnish is a fast drying varnish used as a liquid stop out ground with the aquatint technique.
Drying very quickly, the varnish does not dissolve ground that has already been applied to the plate. It delivers an opaque satin finish.
It should be applied with a brush onto a cold plate.
