Description
Our Soft Black Lamour Engraving Ground is soft black engraving ground in powder form.
It is used to rework the plate that has already been etched by acid, normally following biting to give etched lines greater depth, following another exposure to the acid. However, they can also be used as a soft ground.
These powder grounds should be applied to the plate when it is hot. They dry slowly, remain supple for a long time and deliver an opaque satin finish.
